BFW Firewall & Router

Please somebody help me to give a complete instruction how to install and configure Squid and DansGuardian. I'm using BrazilFW 2.31.10

I read the instructions how to download the package using:
wget http://www.brazilfw.com.br/downloads/ad ... /squid.tgz (100% complete)
wget http://www.brazilfw.com.br/users/xmatri ... ardian.tgz (lite ver 100% complete)

so, what to do next?

Now that you have addons installed the, you must configure them through the webadmin http://192.168.1.1:8180 or IP address you have configured.

thank you for your reply. FYI, when i start squid, the internet cannot be accessed anymore. Its blocked everything. So i stop it and left it alone.

The problem may be in the configuration of squid, please post your configuration.

I think version 3.0.x is better. Squid is working fine but something different in port forwarding.

When you installed the BFW, you have created the second partition?

i don't know how to create partition (in linux). By the way, i just take over the job from somebody. BFW is already installed for a few years but its not filtered the website.

I tried several option included BFW version 3.0.x but stucked at Port Forwarding. Any help for version 3.0?

unfortunately I can not help with BFW3, still have not used it enough to know.

To know if you got the second partition created do the following steps:

Tools >> 16. Free Space File System Memory and post the output.

No, if you add a second disk does not become the second partition. As far as I understood the partition is created when you install. I'll do a search for the forum to see if you can make the second partition with the installed system.

In > Forbidden Words select "Disabled"
In > Deny Extensions: select "Disabled " , this file is empty. Dont use "Enable" case is empty.. ok?
