Your PC must be have the following minimum requirements:
* RAM: 512 MB
* Processor: Pentium III
* Two Ethernet NICs (Any NIC that was supported for the Operation system host)

You can use Linux as Operating System host, or Micro$oft Window$ XP although this tutorial will based in VMWare for Window$, but in Linux is similar.

Please, Install the VMWare (The server version is free, but you must fill a form to register in the VMWare’s site, then they will send you a serial number to your e-mail)

You now can proceed to create a 2 virtual machines following the next steps:

You must appoint the new VMs as: ArgentoQOS or ArgentoBR, as appropriate…

Ok, then enter the size of RAM (ex: 64 MB for ArgentoQOS and 128MB for ArgentoBR)…

Select the IDE disk option (because SCSI don’t is supported by BrazilFW) …
Imagem

Select the hard disk size (0.1 for ArgentoQOS and 4.0 or higher for ArgentoBR)…

Appoint disks, then click on finish button…
Imagem

Then, you must edit the VMs…
Imagem

Remove all that we don’t need (USB, Sound, Floppy), then click on “Add” button …
Imagem

Select “Ethernet Adapter” and then clic on “next” button …

Imagem

Then, click on “CD-ROM” and select the option “ISO image”, and browse the BrazilFW .iso image file.

Follow this steps in both VMs. Lack little to install …
Just missing configure our virtual network, because we have two physical NICs, and We need mandatory 4 NICs (two physical NIC and two virtual NIC).
To do this, goto the “edit” menú, then click on Virtual Network Settings … and do “maping” the NICs in this form:

Note that:
The “target” of the “VMNet2" is a physical NIC and the "VMNet3" target is the second physical NIC. "VMNet" is targeted to our virtual network, Ie. in VMNet2 must connect the MODEM and VMNet3 connect the SWITCH which connects the clients, VMNet0 is our “virtual cross cable”.
We will to configure the NICs in our VM.
In ArgentoQOS edit the first NIC (NIC1) and set it there:
From (VMNet2 as target, and this too target to the real NIC):

And the second NIC (NIC2) set it there:
(To VMNet0 as target, our “virtual cross cable”):

In ArgentoBR:
NIC1 and NIC2 set this configuration:

Ok, now, just missing install and configure the Argentos… but that is another history …
