make dansguardian working [SOLVED]

Hi,

I'm using BFW 3.0.249, and i try to make dansguardian working to block
some site on the network, but of course i can't do it ...

I've download package :
/# get-pkg /users/tecjair/addons/dansguardian/dansguardian

I've change list config via web admin addons/dansguardian,
but when i hit the reload button, i get a message
"DansGuardian off!"
And of course, nothing is filtred

I've change squid conf file (like found on forum) like this :
WEB_CONTENT_FILTER ligne = "yes"
But result stay the same...

So if some one can give me some solution on the step to do to get filtering working,
it will be a good thing for me, because i've make update to 3x to use filtering

Tks for the link, but i've already read it, and it's not solving my probleme.

Dansguardian look's to be running, because i can see it in the webadmin addons, but no results...

- /etc/init.d/squid stop
- /etc/init.d/squid start
-/etc/init.d/squid reload
-/etc/init.d/squid restart-dg

But i can't get this web site filtered...

Hi friend! i'll try to help you..
maybe you understand my poor english..

1 - this file: /etc/brazilfw/brazilfw.cfg, you have enabled option CACHE_DISK=YES?
2 - this file: /etc/brazilfw/custom/squid.cfg, you have enabled option WEB_CONTENT_FILTER=YES?
3 - Don't change squid.cfg / dansguardian.conf default options works as well.
4 - insert this site gtplanet.net on file: /etc/brazilfw/dansguardian/lists/bannedsitelist

Verify this options 1,2,3 and 4, then backup and reboot BFW.

If its not work again, maybe something is very wrong there.

When happen somethng like this, we sugest to reinstall BrazilFW. So follow my steps and report here ok!

Dont make other changes before test this case.

No need at moment, this add on is to simplify the dans guardian configuration. Without it, you have to configure dans in text mode: edit /etc/brazilfw/dansguardian/lists/bannedsitelist

If you want to install this add on, feel free for do.

Hi,

So, it's looking it's working, i've redo all the install and it's working fine,
The only point is that to surf with filtering enable, i need to set my dns in
/etc/brazilfw/brazilfw.cfg (dns1 and dns2). without, proxy can't resolve name.

Just another question, now, disk cache is enable, so, where data are writed, need i to clean it sometimes ?
(i'm on pendrive install, no hardrive...)
