New Kernel version installing [INACTIVE]

Recently new Kernel version 2.6.35 has been released. Is it possible and how to install the new kernel version on 2.31.10 BrazilFW? I need it because my WIFI PCI card TP-Link TL-WN951N based on Atheros chipset does not work in the current 2.31.10 BrazilFW version and ath9k driver for this chipset is updated in the new kernel release.

You need to use BrazilFW 3.x
That version has the lastest kernel available.

- can the 3.0 version used instead of 2.31.10 now or it is only for testing for a while and has it english interface?

Some guys are using 3.0 on production enviroments right now.

We only have portugues and spanish version at this time. Some time we will have english too but all documentation stell moving and changing every day.

You only need a couple of things:
1. A Wireless card with a Atheros Chipset.
2. Create both files on /brazilfw/logical and /brazilfw/physical to get up the nic.

Try to get working if you fail a lot of people will help you.

That is great that it can be used right now. Can current add-ons be used in the 3.0 version (ftp, printer drivers, openvpn, etc.)?
Currently, I have remote access to my office computer running windows 7 through the brazilfw 2.31.10 router - is it the same in the 3.0 version (rules, etc.)?

All addons are recompiled for BrazilFW 3.x and some of this are not available yet.
ftp not yet
printer drivers not yet
openvpn it´s working.

Yes is the same but with a new style on webadmin.

I do not want switch to any other router - I believe the BrazilFW is the best for me.

Ok. Keep using 2.x and wait for this addons.

All team is working to leave a stable product and will inform when we have made the translations to english.

I do not want switch to any other router - I believe the BrazilFW is the best for me.
