High load and traffic zero

Mensagempor Iulian » Sáb Jul 17, 2010 12:05 pm

Hi,

I have a situation that I do not know how to solve it.
BrazilFW 2.31.10 and I regularly have a high load for a few minutes and traffic drops to zero. Sometimes repeated regularly.
For example, one evening, between 19:00 and 3:00, this problem was repeated every half hour, as can be seen from the graphs included.

How can I diagnose / fix this problem?

Thank you!

Please, be more specific. Post your cron file, your WAN setup (is it a double WAN scenario?), the addons that you have installed, squid.conf, etc. We can try to help you but we sure need more info

Best regards.

Hi,

I love your graphs (not to be faulty but the addon).
Can you tell me what is this addon please ?

For your problem, it seems to be linked to the connection quality.
Everytime the connection has a problem the CPU is more used.

Maybe the connection between modem and BFW box ?
What is the modem you use to connect to Internet ? (ADSL, fiber..)

The problem is unresolved, but stopped.
I guess it was because of a computer from the LAN, that maybe it was the virus.
