BUGS in iptables ??

Mensagempor maneloo » Qui Mar 12, 2009 6:20 am

i go in Port Forwarding menu , Reload firewall and it give me this :

Configuring firewall rules...
Configuring custom firewall rules...
iptables v1.3.4-20060123: Unknown arg `--dport'
Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
Configuring port forwarding for internal hosts...
Setting clock using timeserver time-b.nist.gov: Success.
Set the bios clock using timeserver

Back to the list

I have this on port forwarding rules :

How did you create the rules by hand in the configuration file (from the examples) or the GUI?

I have no access to a BFW right now but I would remove those rules and create 1 set using the GUI and then duplicate in the configuration file.

If anything the bug would be in the script that processes those lines and converts them to iptables commands.

Those rules are good but that is not the problem.

This is the sequence of events in reloading the firewall:
Configuring firewall rules...
Configuring custom firewall rules...
Configuring port forwarding for internal hosts...
Running Line UP Scripts...
Setting clock using timeserver time.nrc.ca: Success.
You have something wrong in the custom firewall rules.

Set the bios clock using timeserver

Go to Webadmin->Advanced Firewall Configuration->Edit Custom Firewall Rules and post that.

Just as a note I see that you use time-b.nist.gov as a time server. You may want to consider using ntp1.usv.ro as it is closer to home. http://www.ecoca.ro/NtpOneUsvRo/

Go to Webadmin->Administrative Config
