- SquidCacheAux and system startupWhen BrazilFW loads, a script takes care of checking the settings for SquidCacheAux, as well as all its dependencies.
If any of the components of SquidCacheAux is missing, the script will cause SquidCacheAux not to be loaded.
When SquidCacheAux runs for the first time there is still no configuration set for it. So, the startup script loads a default configuration (variables in the configuration master file and settings in squid.conf) for SquidCacheAux to work properly after being installed.
On this first run, a Failure message related to Perl support and squid.conf settings will present. Please, disregard it since it is a normal behaviour (this will be dealt with later on).
Note:
It is not necessary to modify any variable in the system files as well as adding new settings in squid.conf. All this will be done by the SquidCacheAux startup script.
If you have enabled in Squid the automatic creation of squid.conf you will have to reload Squid and SquidCacheAux.
