Bug in mod.hdparm [closed - fixed] [INACTIVE]

Hi, I just found a small bug in the file /etc/rc.d/pkgs/mod.hdparm

It tries to read the file /tmp/partition.info but that file doesn't exist, so hdparm never starts.

It should be changed to /tmp/boot.info in mod.hdparm

Tested on 2.31.9-RC

When that file doesn't exist it means you do not create the second partition. But hdparm should run anyway.

I will chek and try to fix it.

My hard disk died and I replaced it by an another one wich produces a lot of noise . I can tell you, with 2.31.9-RC, the HD doesn't power off (I don't have a second partition). Also, the parameters in mod.hdparm don't power off the hd because the "-S" parameter is absent. So, I fixed all that by simply adding the command "hdparm -u1 -S12 /dev/hda1" in rc.local. I'm not sure if the "-u1" parameter is needed, but it was recommended in another thread.
