Esteban was working on this tuto sometime ago...

To compile an external project depends to much on that project. Usually they comes with documentation telling you how to do this.

I need to read the tun documentation in order to help you.

A simple question Claudio...

I put this in sources:

setdevel.sh

If possible aply patchs like in other distro to the kernel?
then use make menu config...

then i ejecute the como basics caommands for compile kernels in linux...

then what i do with the image of the kernel?

I recompile several times kernel in debian and with centos, but here is pretty tricky the matter of the kernel :D ...

Regards.

To compile the kernel you should not run setdevel.sh.

All you have to do is uncompress the build tree.

Our default kernel configuration files (for floppy and for hd) are at folder devel/config-info, if you want to use them just copy one for devel/linux/.config

Then go to folder devel/linux and set the options you like. You can edit the .config file using any text editor, or use make menuconfig (my preferred) or using any other graphic tool your linux have.

Once you have set the options you want to change, run the script: devel/kernel.sh

This script will compile the kernel and the modules.
When it finish you will find the new binaries inside devel/binout folder.

That's all.

Ok, good luck.
I'm testing the VTUN package (it's very simple), but a lib dependence error ...
