SNMP is Simple Network Management Protocol.

Your package miss the .list file then it will be broken by the next backup.

You need to create a file at:
/var/lib/lrpkg/netsnmpd.list

With this content:
/etc/rc.d/pkgs/rc.snmpd
/usr/lib/libcrypt*
/usr/lib/libnetsnmp*
/usr/sbin/snmpd
/usr/snmp
/var/lib/lrpkg/netsnmpd.list

I have compiled my own net-snmp. I am in the process of testing it now. I can offer it for download if anyone wants it.

Here you go. Its compiled with all defaults and very basic snmpd.config. Its a bit large, coming in at 2.6MB. It could probably be compiled with less features, thus requiring fewer libraries. I am running BrazilFW 2.28.
