Arping add-on [INACTIVE]

Hello folks...

I compiled arping for brazilfw...

It´s very useful tool for pinging firewalled lan clients or for detecting duplicated ip address...

Arping is not available in windows... (only if you compile for windows)

use arping from iputils-arping, not from arping package.

Something's wrong with arping...

got a 60 sec reply form a host next door ?!

arping is in beta at now...

when i compile iputils, maybe you can get betters results...

But today you can know if a client if online or not....

just arping 192.168.1.2 ?
because when i do that it hangs...

yes happend the same to me... But in the beginnig it´s work perfect...

Bad news

I can´t compile iputils... needs kernel patch...

I think the best way is that Claudio compile a new busybox with arping inside....

Yes, Claudio should include this command to the base od brazil. Its userful for many applications for the future.

We can only beg Claudio to do that.

ip utilities include arping, and the busybox also include it.
I saw the BFW 2.30 also added it in.

arping add-on is for old brazilfw or coyote routers.
